CERTRACK
- CerTrack was specifically designed for use by South African vehicle financing institutions following instances of fraud linked to a lack of control over eNaTIS registration certificates
- It enables institutions to keep effective control of their vehicle and asset registration certificates for both eNaTIS and SAMAR while also complying with the requirements of the National Road Traffic Act (Act 93 of 1996)
- By providing an auditable environment it assists in controlling fraud, the cost of duplicate certificates, and in conjunction with RegTrack provides additional operational efficiencies
- The system records all activities on a time-stamped audit trail and automatically confirms (by way of an overnight ping against eNaTIS) that the bank continues to hold title to identify potential record theft, generally through fraud by crime syndicates
- This provides an automated process to load records onto the ANPR system and pushes the data to IVID and automatically verifies the latest license plate on eNaTIS.
